mountainous time.

friday has no meaning:
i have no parties, no late-night runs to the drugstore
no binges or otherwise huge amounts of illegal substances.
(which i should be grateful for...the lack)

the days are merely
filled with waiting.
waiting for the end, waiting for
happiness.

waiting for that feeling of
completion
in his arms, his scent of
Dixie Outfitters so clean
and true, scent of generations
his beautiful retreat nestled against
the sure constant beating of his heart,
which in my world,
will never, ever end.

why are people so removed from their own truths?
